Ok I have run into a problem where, when I complete the first level, It takes me back to the beginning of the first level, and it keeps repeating this without taking me to 2/3/4. I have checked that I loaded 1-2-3-4 and not 1-1-1-1 but it still isn't working. some help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Al

Are you running the test game or the build game? The test game should end when you complete the level but strange things do happen.

No, I am using the build game function to make a standalone .exe. the level keeps looping in the exe, not the test (which works fine) I have also tried deleting and rebuilding, but still nothing.

Thanks for posting,

Al

Can you also send a screenshot of the "build game" screen - please put it on the tab with the list of levels (and files) visible. If I see anything in it I'll let you know

Hmmm, that is very bizarre - I thought you may have just had all the levels set to level 1 - sometimes complex problems have simple roots but not in this case I guess. Sorry, I'm stumped!

just the last couple of lines indicating how many levels are there, there might have been an error during build or sth

Ok, there is also something else that is going on that totally went over my head the first couple of times I was trying it out. When I complete the first level, the second level loading screen comes up! So I get the second level loading screen, with the first level. confusing.

Sorry for triple post but I fixed the problem. For anyone who's curious, I fixed it by unloading all of the levels, and reloading them. luckily there were only 4 to reload. Not really sure what happened or why, but at least I know how to fix it, right?

Thanks for all the help.

Not for FPSC, I get all kinds of unexplainable errors and it just solves itself by time

Glad u have solved it..
