*sorry about the title I missed typed it should read I'm suddenly having a problem running mods!!*

Hi,

In the last day I've run into a very strange issue regarding Mods.

FPS creator runs fine in vanilla (V1.15), but if I use any modded .exe file the editor is locking up after the test game and needs to be shut down with the task manager. Once closed down the mod runs the test game. Is anyone else having a similar issue.

I first ran into it while testing an Apple Juice Mod change and thought it might have been my changes but I've since tried the last stable version of Apple Juice Mod, Horror Mod and Project Blue and get exactly the same error.

I'm always running the FPSC cleaner first and even re-installed FPSC and I'm still having the same issue.

Any thoughts anyone Please?

It's always happened to me all the back during the V107 mods. I just learned to save before running a test game(even during saving it locks up after it saves as well). I just blamed it on my ancient PC.

I have the exact same problem running Horror Mod - an inconvenience yes, but, I don't really know a way of fixing it unfortunately.

-Cheers

I just talked to S4real. He said Updating to 1.16 beta 4 fixes build game errors. Perhaps it could help with the "not working" bit.

I've since discovered that this issue also affects v1.16 beta and thinking about it, it only started happening after I tried to test v1.16

There is one way you dont have to restart fpsc, you alt-tab out of fpsc without closing it and use your keyboard to navigate to your fpsc folder and then run the fpsc cleaner then quit.

To get into explorer the easy way just press "Windows key" + E

you could do that, wait for 1.16 or not use fpsc with mods

I don't need to restart FPSC, just quit the editor to test the game.

And not using mods is not an option as I'm co-developing Apple Juice mod.
