Try building each level as a seperate game. Thats what I ahd to do to get rid of my build errors. I would recommend that only as a last resort though. I have yet to encounter a problem with bulletholes.dds on the build. Good luck!

1) Check to make sure your bulletholes image was transfered over to your built game.
2) You could try downloading and installing the v1.16 beta and installing Project Blue over that. I think s4 said something about the v1.16 editor fixing some build issues.

I found out that if i build up the level i want in FPSC v1.16 without Project blue. It works like a sharm. With lowest settings. then i copy project blue to my fpsc builded game folder. And It works. All features are working. Wich is very nice.

Now i am going for the highest settings. And see if it has to do with my lightmapping settings.

Yeah that is what i said.

I tested with high settings NO MOD. And i get error Loading Bullet Holes.

While in Low settings. Wiht no Light Mapping i get no error Loading Bullet Holes.

So that is a bit wierd.

Any sugestions?

I als have taken my conclusions that this has nothing to do with my maps. But a lightmap problem. Or a high settings problem. Although i can fix it by setting it to medium (have to test that first thought) i would like to have high settings.

thanks in forward

We are almost there guys.

I got it working on setting lightmapping on soft lightmaps. In full shadow maps it doesnt work. But it doesnt matter. as it is almost them sam. I am totally happy.

Now i am gonna try out with ProjectBlue.

Ok cool it turned out great.

But so this is a V1.16 Bug. And must be solved.

This is my conclusion:

You cant build a game, without setting it to soft lightmapping, other settings may be as high as it can get, but it must be soft.

Although other people can experience this in another way.

As for the mod, just replace the exe.

Bu we are not done yet. I have still to compile the 4 levels together.

Ok New Log:

I have tried to compile the 4 levels together in v1.16,he gave me a error on a entity at the secone level. The first level he compiled smooth.

Is this a real entity problem?

I dont think so, because it just compiles right (that level) standalone (with out any other levels).

I am trying out again with some other settings. And i will post results here.

Thanks for your time,

I am off to bed didnt sleep for 46 hours.

Mate, ive had soooo many problems with PB. I would get a refund if i could... Im using other mods now and since then its all been working great...

Heres and idea:

Could files have been changed whilst copying across a mod? You then got rid of the mod and put in project blue but in order to build the game the changed files require the original mod. Is it valid do you think?

I have the same EXACT Problem, It's a bad update and possible damage from me installing EFX Mod Beta v2.0 I used Revo to Uninstall and Repair, This is silly I never had this problem with V1.0. What the hell lol I had to search Piracy Sites for a Serial just to activate the Update, what's the point of my paying for this software, I want a refund! I don't need access to the Online Store anyways. It's something with the Bullet Holes.DDS file or something it crashes with Unknown Errors, Hung App and Debug Errors all the time, I swear I spent half a day just rebooting my PC. It takes me 10 mins to reboot and close out my unwanted programs. WTF> I'm just as angry as the Next Customer.

I think those BIN Files and junk that is Recommended to delete after the update is what caused my problem. BIN files are indeed needed, because now many of my textures are Black or White in the Builder and in the final Project. FPSC FAIL! lol

Why'd you post 3 times in a row? Then again, why'd I bump this thread, you ask?

Because I have the same problem and I just found this thread after I posted a similar thread. I'm having the exact same problem too and need it fixed before monday or else I'll have to wait until next Saturday before I can try to fix it...
