Erm. Firstly, maybe newcomers section would have ben a better place for this

Anyway, if you want 3D enemies then use the load object command to load 30 enemies. Then use the postition object command to position them.

With 2D it's slightly easier / harder depending on the way you look at it.

You first load an image of the enemy using load image. Then make what's called a "sprite". This is sort of a moveable image entity which can be pasted to the screen, rotated etc.

load image "enemy.bmp",1
sprite 1,100,200,1

will put enemy.bmp onto the screen at 100,200.

There's no place like 127.0.0.1

@Andrew: Can I suggest that you download the DB or DBPro demo and try it?

Also, there are many tutorials available both the DB and DBPro product pages via the menu on the left.

and to do 30 objects just give 30 positions for the 30 objects and the system will plant them down in the corresponding locations, then all you have to do is to give some instructions on what you want them to do, and what you can do to them, you could make it 30 person lemmings or splat em with a huge hammer or machine gun them or whatever you want.

Mentor.

PS these questions would be better in the newcomers section thanks.

PPS: I already suggested that Ian

It should work in the demo. If the cursor is over nothing you get the help menu, if the cursor is over a valid command you get the help for that word.

The first place to really start is by working out what you want to make. Or you can do the tutorials but you me and the cows in Farmer Giles field knows you wont start with a tutorial...

Work out what you want, but do make it simple to begin with. Very simple. OK, now make it simpler, this is your first game not a Geoff Crammond masterpiece. Nope, simpler than that... OK you are getting there, now simplify it a bit.

Now it is possible your game idea has some sort of background, world or map. This will require graphics, so that's what we'll start with - now you must make the graphics.
