ok, heres what ive done:

duplicated and moved a face of one object (object A)

used p to seperate that face and turned that face into a new object C

I need to add face C to object B, but for some reason using the union boolean operator screws up the mesh of object B (idk why)

how do I add a face to an object without boolean operators?

select object B and C and press ctrl + J to join the two objects.
