Here's something for you Rubik's Cube masters:

It's a cube puzzle. You have to make each cube the right colors on top. Much more of a challenge than making all the sides the same on one cube, if you ask me. Seems like it would be a lot of fun to figure out though. But I've never even solved a cube before, so I doubt I'd ever be able to do this.

It's really not that hard to solve one side of a cube, even if by "solving" it means putting different colors up instead of the same. That sort of thing would be way too time-consuming for me though.

I can't solve a full cube, but it's easy to make any one side display what you want if the other five are to be ignored.

I can solve a cube in less then 2 minutes.
YouTube FTW!

I bet I could do that though, if I had a gazillion cubes and 3 huge pots of food...

I'm scared of bugs. I mean that in more ways than one.

@JoelJ - Can you link to the original site please?

This looks like a great idea--- if Rubiks Cubes were cheap I'd one of them myself

If I recall, a rubix cube can be solved in a max of 23 moves.

I can solve a rubics cube, but i think it takes me 2:30 - 2:00 minutes. and making such a painting isn't that hard, you just have to know the colors and its like solving a cube normally :S

I guess you could make a smaller scale version with lego bricks, would look cool as well I reckon.

I have to say though, I'd peel the stickers off and put them in the right order, to hell with actually trying to match it on a rubiks cube.

I tried that once Van, but the stickers don't go back on properly...my sister wasn't happy as it was her Rubixs cube...I think I got grounded for that one.

It's easier to just crack the cube open and rebuild it

Yeah my sister tried that and the last corner piece never seems to fit back in. =S

I like work. It fascinates me. I sit and look at it for hours.

I can't get mine apart. I've taken a large flat-bladed screwdriver to it and the edge piece just won't come out at the 45 degree angle.

You need to hit it with a mallet or something.
