Right, I have an object that uses a lot of transparent png's but all of the types of transparency either A) don't work or B) work, but you can see through the model (???). I've attached a screeny, why does it do this?

i guess that this thing in the middle and the outer circle are in one model? maybe you should try making the inner part a separate object. i think it should work then, but you'll have two models...

They say it's better to burn out, than it is to fade away...

EDIT: It still does it (albeit much less) when I seperate the objects :\

so is the problem that the textures are too transparent ?

im not sure of the command, but I thought that there were image commands to adjust the transparency level of images, or perhaps you could try altering the textures to have less alpha or I think there may be transparency command for the actual object aswell(or different levels of ghosting) ? Probably something that you would have to experiment with I think to get the look you want lol

From looking at the picture though is the look you are after something like smoked/frosted glass or something else ?

If it ain't broke.... DONT FIX IT !!!

you can change the transparency level of objects by first calling
'dbGhostObjectOn' and then use 'dbFadeObject' with a value from
0 (completly invisible) to 100 (no transparency).
