As a new comer to fpsc i am finding myself wanting a little more to polish my ememy characters up to a more professional level. While i have been scouring the forums for AI scripts and trying my hand at a few myself, I realy want to upgrade the animations and have been considering purchasing Character shop. I have been trying the trial version and have been using blender to scale the model of the SAS character and have managed to hook up the mesh with all the vertices attached at about 90% completion. However without a save option and being unable to get the textures to transfer to CS, i have stopped there. My questions are,How hard is it to get the fpsc characters into CS, and what formats are you able to save them as?
Can you export the animations to fpsc and use them with the stock animations. I have researched the forum on this subject and it seems to be a mixed bag of feelings about CS. I would realy like to polish up my AI characters but i am hesitant to spend the money on CS without knowing it will be the tool i am looking for.
Thanks

FPSC uses a directx (.x) format. If you can export to .x in Character shop, then all is good.

However, you will need to re-script the characters to use the new animations, because I imagine that the CS biped is completely different from the FPSC standard biped.
