Project closed until Further notice.

Level showcase is being put together for those who were waiting.

Story: "Life's not easy... What and getting fired and all..
Those coots down at the police station got all riled up after one little mistake. It's not like it was that bad, the bullet just hit his foot, no big deal... my gun, my uniform, all of it just sits there useless now. Protecting Rochester city was the one thing I loved to do... Now all i can do is sit and watch... crime has skyrocketed over the last few months. Hundreds of people, brutally murdered in their homes.. However... the thing is, almost half of the bodies are missing. Were they actually even dead? Or.. did they just run away fearing for their lives in this city? No, that's not it, blood is always found in the homes of those that've vanished. Something's going down in this city, something strange, something we don't know about, something, unexplained...

Some screenshots of the high-rise apartment you'll be staying in

Kitchen

Your Bedroom

Living Room

Crowded Closet

Finally, a nice view of grungy old Rochester City

Post some C+C if you would please, your opinion counts

Wow that's looking great so far! Gave a perfect apartment feeling, which is hard to do in FPSC! And that last screenshot is wicked, you must be using some sort of performance enhancing mod though, otherwise that view would just chew up your FPS like mad.
Anyways, can't wait to see more of the apartment building and grungy old Rochester city!

Oh and sorry, the one piece of critique I might give is that refrigerator; I love CC's grungy fridge too, it looks sweet, but it doesn't really fit in your apartment scene, just a tad too grungy for it. Best be suited for maybe, when you get down into the Rochesters ghetto and dilapidated districts.

- Cheers

This certainly has its own atmo. Wich is a good thing, to be more original then other games, well done. I like how you look down at the city, but it looks like you are bigger then other buildings. Can be but it will be a better impression if you do fake and real buildings.

real = 3d buildings
fake = 2d buildings (a simle plain)
flat = skybox (wich you already have)

But this is going veyr good, and certainly you are on the right path, keep on it .

I will definitely keep that in mind, thank you

Although, looks like it's bigger then the other buildings? Like taller than the others or more wide?

Looks great Ekipshi!! Its awesome to see my overlays get some use!! I think by being bigger than the other buildings, Red Eye means taller.

Yeah I love your overlays

As for the too tall, i may look into that, make some of the buildings taller then. It's still a high rise apartment so it is going to be tall though

The new screens look great! The hallway looks fantastic, and I'd say that fridge fits a smidge better; but you definitely have to use CC's fridge later on, it's really good.
And yeah, where did you get that light fixture? It's pretty sweet.

All in all, looking very very good man, keep it up

Now that is exactly the attitude of Astek. U can just see his personality by just reading that question. No offense, but you are acting alot of times like this.

his game. At the time of my post, I was my work cubicle.

The game looks fantastic and it really reminds me of

I don't see how his curiousity can be portrayed as a negative attitude, or whatever you were implying; I asked the same question, it's a really cool light source.
By the way, thank you Doomster for pointing out where we may find said media

Anyways the new screens look really good so far man, if you could find some big paintings to place on the walls, it would really compliment the room

Thanks Braden My plan indeed was to finish a few of the environments and then add in the story/events into the levels and make a demo

I will keep you notified on my progress via the top post from now on, when it's all finished I'll release a demo

I guess I have a hard time understanding people of this forums...

This is one of the best Fpsc-using games in development, but yet people don't comment on its brilliance.

Anyways, regardless of the lack of a community input, I would really like to see more screens.

Waiting...

It looks so good I want to lick it...or at least buy one of those apartments...

If I was ever given the opportunity to remove all the bad from the world, I wouldn't, because for there to be heroism, compassion and all that is good, there must also be all that is bad.

Wow that shot looks incredible man. Great job, and please keep this up! One of the best FPSC games I've seen in a while around here, really good job. How does that screenshot fit into your city though? Just curious.

And yeah, I've heard a great many things about Lyte FX, but am not overly sure on where to go to find it?

But then again I could be wrong, and I don't want to spoil anything for myself or others so I won't say anything either hehe.
