I am currently developing a game in which you fly a space ship from solar system to solar system with many planets in each What I would like is the name of the planet to appear with the planet so you can see its name as you fly towards it.

The planets are all orbitting different suns.

I was thinking of creating an object with the text of the name of each planet... but this does not do exactly what I want...
Does anyone know some way to do this with sprites perhaps or something else?...

any thoughts/ideas/CODE Maybe?

Thanks in Advance!

use screen x and screen y to position the text. Ther is an example in the dark basic help files of how to do this.

That's what I would do also. Be sure to put the following code in, as sometimes object screen x/y return values even if the object is not in the screen:

There's no place like 127.0.0.1

There are 10 people in this world, those who understand binary and those who don't.
