Hmm, Might have to try that myself once... I didn't follow four years of carpentry(Is that the correct word for someone making furniture? I forgot) for no reason.

Yeh, it is...

And this is epic, although my friends would say I'm sad if I had one...

If I was ever given the opportunity to remove all the bad from the world, I wouldn't, because for there to be heroism, compassion and all that is good, there must also be all that is bad.

I didn't think so. The cuts weren't as smooth as I'd expect and the painting seemed sloppy to me. But it still looked cool.

I think before being painted it could benefit from some plaster or something to smooth out all the wood grain and spaces and gaps caused by bad cuts. Also a few more coats of various colored paint so you can rough up the edges a bit to simulate nicks and scratches.

To me it just looks too obvious that it was made out of wood when the companion cube is supposed to be metal.

This was actually done by a friend of mine, and no he isn't a professional carpenter, he graduated from the uni i'm at a while ago and is just someone who likes fun computer games and has some spare time on his hands. I'm sure it was never meant to be a "perfect" companion cube. It's just a very cool cupboard/bedside table.

Personally I thought it was awesome, and I'd like to see anyone here do better

I wonder what's next... a working Rubik's Cube cabinet?

In the beginning there was nothing. There'll be nothing in the end...

I'm sorry if I offended you. If I did I didn't mean to. There's no way I could do better, hahahaha. I was just critiquing... It really is awesome though!

I just realized I never complimented it in my post, because it really is good. I'm a dick :\
