Before I get myself worked up about this, X10 is welcome right?

Can you save the crew of LV21?

I'd be up for a sequence of tutorials on game creation. That would be really fun. That is, if you want me to, Nickydude.

Of course Inspire, that would be great! I'm trying to get the podcast done for 1st January so there's no major rush.

Note: Anyone doing any video content could you record it at the highest resolution you possibly can? Especially videos of the FPSC interface or any Apps so everything is nice and clear. Thanks.

If you don't mind downloading gigabytes of video content, that shouldn't be too hard.

A 10 second clip at the highest resolution I can film at (without lag and without compression) is just over 1GB

Ok, let's keep it to no larger than 500mb? I have no problem downloading (fast internet connection) and no problem with size (4gig memory) plus it will be resized and trimmed.

You only have 4 Gb of memory. :S

Hi, it’s Robert with Stealthmod! You’ll be saying Stealth every time you use this mod! It’s like CoD! It’s like L4D! It’s like BioShock. A regular mod doesn’t work good – this works good and great.

@ Nickydude:

How much is supposed to be in this podcast thing? How long is it actually supposed to be, and how much should I make?

@Robert F:

I think he was referring to RAM. I'm sure he has enough hard drive space.

Just sent in a really small tutorial on how to make seamless textures. I can't muster anything more substantial at the moment because I don't have a pc, only a mac atm! Damn you failing hard drive!

If you intend to review games then definitely count me in as that is something i feel i could cover and maybe even game creation. I know i haven't made a game myself but i can provide the theory to game creation to the best of my knowledge

All the best

@Inspire: I'm not sure how long it will be. If I put it on YouTube then it should be no longer than 10 mins. Do you guys think 10 mins is long enough?

@Dr Parsnips: Got it, thanks. That's exactly the type of thing I'm looking for, excellent!

@djmaster: Got the vid, thanks. Is there a higher resolution you could record at as it seems a bit murky.

It's going to take until January to make a 10 minute broadcast? The video I was going to do would at least be 3 minutes of that. And that's just like a part of it.

Not sure I'm with you there Inspire? Are you asking why wait until January instead of having one up for next week?

Well, since you ask...

1/. ... I don't have a web cam! And a "video" cast isn't really much use without a video. I have one ordered and it should be here in a couple of weeks.

2/. I want it to be more than "a bloke in his house saying stuff into a webcam". There will be an intro, links (between sections), cuts and edits.

3/. It gives plenty of time for people to provide stuff for the first episode, like reviews, interviews...

4/. I have many, many other things to do besides this so this isn't a full time thing.

5/. 1st Jan... Brand spanking new year, brand spanking new FPSC podcast! Why not.

Talking of intros, here's a very much work in progress in the Creator Cast intro.

I love the idea, would it be possible to have a TGC Video Cast
with DBPro and all the other software discussed as well?

Something like a video version of the Newsletter.

Seeing as it looks like darimc isn't going ahead with his cast, I might be tempted to start on this again, would anyone be interested?

Yeah, I still think it's a cool idea. Wouldn't have much to contribute as of yet though

You could think of it as a Podcast for FPSC, only it wont..go on your IPOD, It'd be on youtube

I'll be interested, I'll make a short video on the development of Virus, the game that has entered and won the Ultimate FPSC Competition, I'll go on a bit about the development of the game, and showing some gameplay.

Very Good Idea Nickydude. I have a question through, would this be broadcasted a few times and then everyone will cool down?

I mean will this be broadcasted every month like TGC Newsletter or is this a One-Time only? Cuz I have a game in making and it would take 2-3 months... If there would be another episode then cool!!!
