Game Design Theory / Ideas for a Zombie Game Name

All right, I have decided to make my first game, and have decided it will be a zombie game. The general idea will be this;

-It is Multiplayer game
-You and a few friends (Maybe a total of 6 survivors) all spawn in a Sandbox Style City full of zombies. Yo then simply need to survive until rescue comes, or in some game modes, as long as you can.

Think Dead Rising Survial Mode with Co-Op and in a City.

To start however, I need a name.

Possible ideas so Far.

-Outbreak
-Quarantined
-Zed World

Anyone have any good ideas?

Well, generally you want the name of a game to have something to do with the game (so... Zed World? lol). So, I would think of something like "Survivors" or "The Remaining" (Remaining as in remaining people) or something simple like "Help!".

Actually, the name is one of the last things you worry about, and is often changed several times through development. And creating an online multiplayer game is a rather large feat for a first-time developer.

They Hunger sounds too much of the movie They Live.

Try to make a name original and not like a movie.

Ex:

Dawn of the Dead

I suggest Outcry, The Shift, Coming. Outcry and Coming are the two best out of the three I suggested. It would require a little bit of a story line though.

i was thinking Zed World had to do with the end of the world, zed being the last letter of the alphabit, like omega man, the last man alive, last letter of the greek alphabit, sorta thing

How about a game where you're a big celebrity for starring on some famous show (Star Trek, Star Wars, Twighlight comes to mind). Now you want to make your way out of the convention center you're in so you can go home and relax. Just one problem... You have to avoid the zomb... er... your fans... because if you get caught you could get ripped apart by their overzealousness....

I remember seeing a film about Bruce Springsteen literally having his clothes ripped off by his female fans as he tried to escape into his car. Not sure if it was real or not, though...

In the beginning there was nothing. There'll be nothing in the end...
