Your Creation does not have to be amazingly ground breaking, It could be really basic, all that matters is what you are proud of.

What Creation are you most proud of?

Good call .

My best game/program so far - I'd have to go with the Rail Shooter engine I made for the DBP Coding Challenges. It's certainly not as impressive as Fields, but Fields is nowhere close to done, and I don't know how I feel about how it's going...

My best art - Well, since the Banwagon pic went over pretty well, I thought I'd make some more forum-related art, and I have to say I love how this one turned out...

Hehe, looks like Orange County Choppers meets Dog The Bountyhunter, meets.... Jake.

I'm not sure the Discovery channel would be up for it though, not unless TGC arm us with virtual pepper spray.

Ha! Excellent work again BMacZero!

I think the thing I'm most proud of is the RC Plane we designed and built for uni. Flew pretty well in the end!

Sounds weird, but this Remote-Cup Holder I made that attached onto my bunkbed when I was little. I no longer had to climb down to get a glass of water or get the remote. It was awesome.

Hi, it’s Robert with Stealthmod! You’ll be saying Stealth every time you use this mod! It’s like CoD! It’s like L4D! It’s like BioShock. A regular mod doesn’t work good – this works good and great.

My fractals are my most proud creation thus so far. Those and the times I've made other people signatures and they liked the turnout.

The fractal I'm probably most proud of so far:

I don't know. There's many things I'm proud of but it's hard to single one out. Perhaps my valiant efforts at coding on a single project since 2005.

I'm only really proud of things I make for about a day
I like solving little coding problems
oh wait I coded a 3D rotating cube using only 2D commands, but i never got the culling to work because my maths sucks, still deserved a lap of honour around my room though

I've never really finished anything creative yet, so I really have nothing to be proud of.

Quote: "I'm proud of the movies I create in my head (which I really should write down)."

Everybody does that. Just the other day I came up with a general plot outline of a mixture of Lord of the Rings (the movies, not the books) and The Terminator.

But really, that scene in Fellowship of the Ring where the Nazgul knocks down that door thing in Bree fits perfectly with the scene where Arnold says "I'll be back" for the first time ever (where he drives a car into a police station).

Swordfight! My cheesy little first game!

My kinda recent achievements:
solving the equation ay^2+xy=b, cx^2+xy=d
Figuring out a general equation for all conic sections
Making a quicksort function in c++
Getting my Antivirus security working (freeware firewall, virus scanner, ip blocker, and ip block list updater)
installing software on a microchip

@ Insanity Complex:
What program did you use to make that, and what's the rundown on how it works?

@ obese

Well, the program is called Apophysis, but to make that particular verison I used the Apo 3D hack. I wouldn't suggest starting with 3D hack, as making things in 3D is naturally more complicated than making a 2D fractal.

You can get the latest Apophysis here, with a good selection of tutorials here

If you do grow interested in using the 3D version, it is available here

Yeah, I probably should go back and tweak some things in the gamma and brightness for that one...but Apo 3D takes ages to render, and uses a lot of resources, so I've been putting it off

You mean, Ax2 + Bxy + Cy2 + Dx + Ey + F = 0, which has been around for like, forever?

Anyways I don't have many achievements that I'm very proud of. Probably because I never finish anything. Ever.

My Yu-Gi-Oh deck.

Jk.

(But it is well built... )

My "Hello World" program built in C++. Looking back, it was dumb, but I was proud of it. Surprised no one mentioned this yet. (I think, too lazy to read through it again...)

It's ironic how people don't use signatures for actually 'signing'. Whoops.

Ax^2 + Bxy + Cy^2 + Dx + Ey + F = 0

I wasn't aware of that equation

I've googled, but i can't find much information on it... but that raises questions like: how does that equation relate to 3d space given three points defining a plane? And what is the scale of that from 3d space to 2d space.

Anyways, You've got me interested now... any clue on how that was derived? Google isn't answering :\

Neuro:

I was taught that equation in my Algebra II class, but we never really used it in that form so I don't know about its origin or applications. You can read more at the Wikipedia entry for conic sections.

Honestly, the creation I am most proud of is a movie script I wrote years ago. Sadly, I wrote the characters based on my friends' personalities, and we ended up moving away and so I was never able to make the movie.

But recently I found the script and started re-writing a bit of it, and I'm making it work for new friends I have. We're going to make the film next summer, and I must say, waiting for a few years and always retaining slight hope has definitely paid off.

As for making a program as a creation...hmm...I was pretty proud of an imitation operating system I made. However, I gave the project up, as it really was only a test for highlighting a button in a program. Hehehe.

So many failed projects, I've got a little hidden project at the moment, which isn't going to fail, it's in 2D, but it's not DBP.

For 3D art, I guess my proudest creation is this little guy:

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=133143&b=3

or this one:

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=111022&b=3&p=2

Though you see I don't finish things very often.

For writing, not much of my writing gets onto the internet and my most recent creation for writing I put on the net is here:

http://littlenorseprince.wordpress.com/2009/07/24/sample-piece-a-fathers-revelation/

It's not my 'proudest' but I liked how it turned out.
