Yay, now I can buy me another one...

Microsoft pretty much had to do this, seeing as Sony dropped the price on their console. The price of the 360, I believe, has always been a major selling point, as it has always been cheaper than the PS3, and yet more powerful than the Wii.

I have 2 already - really that's the only way to go with 360's, if one gets ringed then I have a spare, but we all just keep our profiles on memory sticks, so we'll just plugin and go. It's pretty handy to have someone on the opposing team in the same room, you can watch what they're up to. I just set it up next to my PC and use the monitor from that.

Hopefully you will list those problems.

Wow...are they repairing the same Xbox every time?? Are you getting proper ventilation? They just sent me a new one the first time and now I have no problems.

I wouldn't say the Xbox 360 is less powerful than the PS3...I haven't been able to tell a difference in graphical quality, to be honest. Unless that's not what you were suggesting.

I have three #_# lol

Step Dads, mine, little brothers.

I cliam my step dads when friends come round and split my telvsion in two (not literally ofc has a neat little function) or bring in the spare tele from the cuboard.

Since i bought mine second hand from gamestation, it had only a years warrenty, it broke two months after it, RRD. So i checked it over, the usual take off the faceplate for a better cooling ect and the silver tape had been cut! meaning i couldnt send it to microsoft.
So that left me i the water for a while, i found the X clamp fix, did it, reapplied all the thermal paste on the board, Cleaned everything with alcoholic rub and not a problem in over a year now.

so alls good ^^

Well then you don't have three then monkey!

Myself and 2 of my brothers have 2 each, it's just the way it worked out. My family comprises of gamers, if you don't play games then we cast you out...

Me - 2 xboxes, DS, PSP, Gamecube, PS2, Dreamcast, Wii, 3 laptops, PC, plus some retro stuff (CD32, Lynx, Genesis etc)
Littleist bro - 2 xboxes, DS, PS2, PC, Laptop
Older little bro - 2 xboxes, PC, Laptop
Dad - xbox, PS2, PC
Big brother - xbox, Laptop
Sister - xbox, PS2, PC, 2 DS's (Nephews)
Mom - DS

The strangest thing about that is my mom plays probably twice as much as anyone else - she's glued to that DS, if you have a female relative that you want to shut up, buy them a DS - expensive but infinitely worth it.

GTA4 free roaming games with that lot can be fun. I do tend to lend out my spare xbox though, like when friends RROD and I have to send it away for them, because the whole procedure is apparently beyond them.

Well, that might be what I said, but it wasn't really my point I don't know whether or not the Xbox is less powerful than the PS3, but it's certainly always been cheaper, but still without compromising graphic quality, which is the case with the Wii.

I've had my 360 since April, so perhaps I should have waited a bit longer. Oh well, it doesn't matter.

As far as RROD, I can imagine they're annoying, but so far no 360 problems and I spent extra on 3 years GAME-cover, so it anything goes wrong with it that isn't included in the warrantee, GAME will cover for it, so I have plenty of piece of mind and knowing how things work, I'll spend extra money and nothing will go wrong, after all, when you buy an umbrella it stops raining.
