efx mod is one of those mods that seems real but has disappeared. anyways, efx mod's last known whereabouts was in the German forums.

Now that I think about, I came across a thread a while back that someone said that they now pulled it off the German forums. In other words Efx mod is Dead until the the developers decide otherwise.

Let me rephrase that sentence: "efxMod isn't available till Nighthawk has finished the new version "efxMod Europe" which is currently in developement."

In other words, it wasn't dead whatsoever it's currently just in developement and not available as a beta as of yet.

According to Nighthawk's blog efxMod now runs with 1.15 as the core and the performance is much better.

EFX will be back soon, to my understanding, there making a new version with new effects, shaders and more !
