Dark GDK / db functions not outputting

I was writing a Dark GDK program but the following functions do not output:
dbCircle(x,y, radius);
dbEllipse(x,y,xrad, yrad);

Can somebody help?

They do not draw you mean?

do you have dbSync()?
are x, and y numbers within the screen size?
