I heard that Wings3D was a very easy, and good program for modelling. The problem is, does it work well with directx files? It doesn't appear to be able to export to directx, and I can understand that most cannot import directx files, but is there any way possible, that Wings 3D could export to .x files, or if there's a plugin for it?

I'm sure mgarand uses wings for his models, so it is possible.

i use wings 3d for static and dynamic models because of its simplicity.

it does not support animation though.

Although i will be soon moving to blender or MS3d for my modeling, Wings 3d is a GREAT program, especially for beginners.
It is GREAT.
I model in wings and animate in fragmotion
