Im sure that in the DBC 1.13 basic 3d example set there was an exploding particles program, but it was complicated and used arrays.

Dunno about it in PRO. It would probably be maths-reliant and you'd have to put gravity/inertia values onto particles.

If your using DBC, then I found the code below on the internet.

If your using pro theres a program called Particle factory (i think), which can't create some real nice explosions.

Particle Illusion - it's on a cover CD in the UK. I got it 2 or 3 weeks ago - fantastic! Only limitation is that you can only have one layer, but this is only a problem for video composition.

By the way, it will only create you an animation or still to apply to a plain, it won't create a real 3D particle effect. Here's a sample screenshot...

Ever tried creating a particle effect in DBP with a negative emmission number? Try it, and you'll be pleasently suprised.

(yes this is relevent to the post - just try it )
