Hey guys. Forgive me if I caught your attention and wasted your time here.
I decided to just start a little something amongst us all, to see who could make the best map using only stock media, with no additional model packs or content.
There is no winner or prizes, let's hope to just keep this as a fun little thing amongst ourselves.
We can start with posting screenshots, and then when finished maybe put a link to the level.
This is not a competition, and is through a matter of fun only.
So no mods, no additional content, no graphical enhancements, lets see what we can come up with.

I guess that should be fine. Unless others think it's unfair.

Sorry if it's been duplicated before, but I've never seen another one.
After playing Wehtam's Automatic Update I decided to see just what kind of stuff we can make with just stock media.

Seeing how I have little custom stuff for x9 (but plenty for x10) I'd be happy to partake in this delightful contest

That is, a Free version map contest, this isn't a contest but just a little thing just for fun.
And we can use any stock media in the full version of FPSC.

There are subtle differences between all three, like Adriano said, theres the one that's only for those who have the free version. Then you have the one that is strictly regarding the four default FPSC maps - and now this one! Sounds interesting though

Cheers

Ich will in Beifall untergehen.

Well, if you use models that are not stock, it wont be stock. But allright for me. But AdrianoJones, you are the one that puts up the rules in here!

I made a nice scene. Was making it for about half a hour. I tested it. It was good. Then I ested it without mog. It had one helluva L-A-A-G-G. Can I use mod, just to increase framerate. Nothing else. Just the framerate.

Sure. Just make sure not to use any of the mods features, other than the performance increase.

Shadowfire: Sorry, but you can only use stock media. My apologies bud.
As you can see I am a very soft guy.

I have a question. If you're limiting this challenge to the use of stock media and enforcing the 'no additional content, or no graphical enhancements' policy in the first place, why wouldn't a mod be allowed? It seems you could still enforce those same rules while allowing all of the participants to take advantage of a frame rate increase and timer system (after all, this is just for fun, right?). That way, however appealing these games turn out to be (nice screens by the way, Metal Devil123), everyone will actually be able to play them, as opposed to crawling along at 2 FPS on the stock engine

Just a suggestion, but it's, of course, your call.

You have a point, I apologize for that, and I did mention that you could use one for frame rate increase, just don't use the mod to make the game look any better, that's all.

Nice screens MetalDevil!

Please don't. I thought the whole point of this was to use STOCK media, not anything else.
