Can someone tell me why this code only displays the dbSprite() line, and not the dbPasteSprite call?

The call to dbSetSpriteFrame works, but the call to paste does not, leaving me with the original dbSprite at 0,0.

Can you actually paste an animated sprite?

Stabbing at a guess... Do you have dbPasteSprite inside your main loop before the dbSync function?

Yes I do? Can you possibly give me some sample code. I would like to use dbPasteSprite() in my initialization code before the game loop to draw a tile map of the world.

Thanks,

james
