A mod that speeds up would fix that,or a better system.

@old_School,

First welcome to the forums!
Second what is your computer specs.
Did you edit setup.ini at all?.

Sometimes adjusting a few things in there may help. As djmaster said mods can sometimes help with the lag for faster game-play. I currently use horror mod great mod. Even on my old computer the mods have help out alot. Glad i got a new pc finally well sorta, Kinda need to upgrade to a better vid-card. Try adjusting your settings in setup.ini. Sorry if i cant be anymore help....

I dont think that really matters if your pc is way over the reccomended.

No matter what your game is always gunna lag at some point, there are ways to prevent it lagging suck as if you have a fake door, then place a enclosed segment behind it or just using a mod just like djmaster said.

And loading times are a pain aswell, you can stop that by not using any lights in your test level or mabe turning dynamic lights off or something like that

Hope I helped
