Hi, I am thinking of writing a WW2 submarine game (like silent hunter) in DBC and am looking for low poly ship models of the following. I have found a few at places like www.turbosquid.com and www.3drt.com but in the former case the polys are way too much (I mean really, who makes 750,000+ poly models! Even more interesting is who uses them!). In the latter's case the poly count is right but the ships are futuristic rather than of the ww2 era. In total I am looking to spend no more than 200 bucks on the whole lot and the poly count for any one ship probably cant exceed 5000 or it will run too slow. The ships I am after are:

Destroyer
Cargo ship
Submarine
Oil tanker
Cruiser
Aircraft carrier

Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can give me.

Do you have reference pictures?

I know of about 4-8 destroyers

Cargo ships can be anything, a aircraft carrier can be used as a cargo ship for Medi aid and instant food relife ect.

We need more information to go on for this, provide reference pictures and ill have a go at some of them for you.

Thanks guys. Basically I'm fairly open in terms of models as long as they are from the WW2 genre. I will post images on here when I get back from hols - was just hoping that you might know of specific navy model packs.

Very nice work indeed, henry by the way!

Cheers,

Chas.
