Hello everybody, I'm sorry about all the questions I've been asking, but I'm just trying to make my game the best I can. So, now if anyone knows, how can I record videos and music/sound, and then put it in FPSC? I need story zones and people talking, so if anyone knows how to do this, then can you please help.

I have started on the training level and the first level of my game, I just need to put in videos and sound, and then I will put a demo for it so everyone can try.

Fraps

Put the recorded movie into the storybank and then use a story zone in the markers tab

I've tried that but, when I record something and put it in fpsc, its not the right type of file. Then when I change it to .wav it can't be used.

Ever heard of .wav is a type of audio file ?

Try converting the file with a video editor, if you want to do it for free then use windows movie maker, just convert it to avi

1. You mean "What is fraps"

2. Its a game recorder, not free though, you can download their free demo but it records for 30 seconds only.

You can get the demo here - http://www.fraps.com/download.php
You can buy the full here - http://www.fraps.com/buy.php (Inclueds liftime free updates)

Fraps also captures images and allows benchmarking

Thanks BigSnake, but I also found a program called Snagit for free and it records things of your screen. So should I just use that or is fraps better?

Fraps would be better for quality but whatever you think would be fine

Its for taking images, benchmarking and of course, yes, the very easy one Recording gameplay

Then of course your resaults come out as a avi file you can edit

I would prefer Fraps because it gives a better frame rate and quality. Snagit really slows me down.
Fraps, you can just use it to record your game by setting all the sound zones, trigger zones, and such.
I would recommend converting it to .avi with Windows Movie Maker, because then it would work, and since Fraps has huge video files, it is better to use Windows Movie Maker and compress it.
