Im looking for a good game pad, I like the PS2, love the Xbox regular pad, but want one for the PC. I went to the store and saw about 30 types (including joysticks).

DBPro compatible (they probally are, so not really an issue) is required.

Thanks in advance

I just got the logitech wireless Wingman pro, it has dual analog mini joys + 1 digital d-pad, 6 buttons on top, four up front, everything programmable with digital-analog swap. 2.4ghz wireless has been flawless so far (2 months)
I think it was like 40 bucks

give it a look

edit: also does not interfere with my logitech wireless keyb and wireless mouse, just so you know

I have a Thrustmaster Firestorm DP3 ...

1 dpad
2 analog sticks, doubling up as buttons (you can press them)
4 buttons on top
4 buttons at the front
2 buttons underneath
Manual switch from analog to digital operation
Rumble packs built-in

Everything is easily accessible, it works great with DBPro, and it's really cheap now - $20 from hardware central

Personally I'd avoid wireless as it has a tendancy to miss important keypressess at critical moments...

I have the Microsoft Sidewinder Gamepad

1: Control Pad
2: 8 buttons on the front
3: 2 shoulder buttons

simple yet sweet, feels like an Xbox controller that wasnt built for Shaquele O'Nele (or however you spell Shaq's name)

AxisPAD
8 directional Dpad
Dual joysticks that double as buttons
6 face buttons (start/seclect included)
4 sholder buttons
A 'mode' button that switches from digital to anolog control
USB
Force Feedback
Has a feel not unlike a PS2 controler

Two problems I ran into
1) need to press the Dpad more than you should need to for it to register
2) on one of my emulators the right joystick registered as the left, don't know if it was the emulator or the controler

$15 from most places will get you a Playstation DualShock USB connector (why pay $40 to have the feel of a PS2 pad when you can have the real thing?)

failing that personally i prefer the Gravis Xterminator Aftershock, identical controls to the PS2 Pad, FFB features, Excellent calibration & setup software, low power needs, sweat resistant grips & a very nice ergo feel.

problem is its the most expensive on the market at $55/£30
that said it is the most outstanding on the market, only the Logitech Wingman RumblePad comes close in features and like most Logitech things it feels like it was made for a Robot

I have a gravis exterminator.
analog joypad
digital joypad
8-way pov hat
6 buttons + 2(start/select) + 2 (underneath on the grips)
analog sholder paddles (share same axis)
throttle slider
usb connection.
The only problems is the analog joypad axis doesn't line up with the angle my thumb moves from side to side which is dumb.

I wonder if they have a XBOX USB for the xbox controller. I love the size and feel of it.

Its the perfect size for my hands (the original one, not the new smaller one)

Like I said earlier I like the PS2 for feel, its a little small, but good. I would take a USB Xbox over the PS2.

The force feedback (shake, rattle and roll) to the game pads like the xbox, ps2, can you write a feedback code to have force feedback in DBPro?

Would be cool.

you can change the angles of the rotations and calibrate the joypad to your natural movement in the eXperience console
i've not got my pad with me, i ended up grabbing my brothers gamepad pro by mistake ... but i'm sure the options are simple to figure out.

This has been wholly UNTRUE in my experience. Since there are many many devices out there that run on 2.4Ghz range you just have to becareful of what you have in close proximity to your pc, especially cordless phones that or running on 2.4ghz. If you keep these things near you when using wireless, yes it will mess you up but if you don't (15-20 feet away) your good to go. At least that has been my experience - no wires here, No problems here.

Im 6 foot 7
When I rub my wifes back my hand is the size of her back from side to side (tho she is a small girl 4 foot 10)

I love my Game Boy Advance but its so small. Im glad nintendo released that Game Boy Player for the GC. The game cube controller isnt much better, but still better then the small GBA.
