ok Ive noticed my self a lack of support or ability to function properly with x64 OS based systems using FPS. Not a problem Im use to it. Fairly common, anyway heres my solution. If you have a x64 OS and our having issues. Setup a Dual OS system.

Whats a Dual OS?Dual OS means your running two OS's or running two copies of windows in a nutshell. Very common in Mac users to do a Dual OS setup. Anyway, its real simple to set this up.

Ok couple things to first keep in mind. First the old Xp disc you have may or may not support your SATA drive. So you made a need a program like Nlite to support your modern HD.

Now that your prepared. Pop in your old windows XP or 32 bit OS disc. Now windows will say a previous version is installed blah blah blah. You want a fresh install.

Next probly do a restart or copy files blah blah blah. Ok after the reboot you will have two choices popup. Windows XP or in my case Windows Xp lol You will know if you selected the right one if you start to install XP. If not no worries just reboot and press down key once.

Then after that it will load into the 32 bit everytime till you tell it to load the other version. Anyway thats pretty much it. Just dont format or delete any files on the blue screen area when you setup. Choose the option to leave files alone. Or something like that and it will ignore the other windows install.

Just remeber to update your 32 bit version so FPS Creator will work. An you will have to reinstall all your model packs etc.

Now finding your old maps can be real easy if you prepare for it first. Go to c: drive and just copy the maps in there. Then when you get on the 32 bit version and get everything installed. You just go to c: and they our there waiting. This avoids having to search through a bunch of folders.

I hope that helps. Im trying it now Ill tell you the results. But in theory it should help. Because 90% of the software in the world today was designed around the idea of a 32 bit OS.

So you basically mean dual-booting to two drives/ drive partitions.

One drive/ partition with 32bit and one with 64bit. So you can still access the files of your 32bit install, but running from a different OS.

This is what I do for my current Win 7 dual boot. I ran FPSC x9 perfectly from my D:\ drive while running Win 7.

Well yeah u can do it that way two. I decied to wip out my old 2003 Server copy so I dont even have to seperate the partion cause 2003 does it intelgently for me. But the proper term is Dual OS. Anyway yes some people do not know how to set that up plus its useful in this case. So I figured Id throw that out there. But yeah your way would be easier if they had another HD. But partioning can be a pain sometimes if your newb. So I tried to explain easest way I could.
