This was done a long time ago by Butter fingers, you might find the answer you want in his thread.

because it worked just fine untill I upgraded to 1.15
Edit: No there is no answer to such problem. even tho it might come in handy for a flamethrower effect just when the first in line blows the others go in chain reaction back to the turret, and it keeps expliding at the firespot.

The character Rate Of Fire speed is set way too fast. It's not a problem with the weapon itself. You can change that in the editor character dialogue. I don't recall exactly of the top of my head but I think you need to input a really high value to reduce the ROF to something reasonable.

ok I think I know what this problem is all about.
In my understanding its due to the of WASP Phenix Mods, (Now dont get me wrong! These are GREAT mods!).
I wasnt getting the error untill I modded FPSC with either of these (yes clearing dbos and bins in between).
Can the makers of these mods give this error a look?

Eh figures this was an old bug but I fear that it has come back. Ill go test it.

Edit: Tested, its not Fenix Mod

Post the script your using. The problem could be there.

Did you include the rateoffire condition?

That's the only other thing I can think of atm.

oh thread solved! thanks for the help EAI!
The problem was due to the script I was using. Not to the rate of fire
