well, I was experimenting around and created a delicious little recipe for a flamethrower! I attached a pic of the simulation, and if you'd like to know how I did it, just tell me because I don't want to waste time and no one's going to want it

I have a flamethrower in Stealth Mod.

Hi, it’s Robert with Stealthmod! You’ll be saying Stealth every time you use this mod! It’s like CoD! It’s like L4D! It’s like BioShock. A regular mod doesn’t work good – this works good and great.

You changed the bloodecal to the fire decal so when you shoot them it plays the fire animation, not so great if the player decides to fire it when there's nothing to fire at

you could get past that by saying that the weapon isn't a flamethrower, but a type of raygun that sets fire to only biomattter.

Don't think non-constructive posts like that are very necessary around here. It's a neat idea, actually pretty outside the box for FPSC and I think it's really cool what he's done.

Thanks for sharing Destroyer

Cheers

While we're on the subject of shameless self-advertising. *ahem*

I have Decal OverRide. It's super simple to set up and achieves the original poster's effect, plus much more. You should check it out, DestroyerHive, it's a lot of fun.

Horror Mod has particles on weapons so you can make an amazing flamethrower.Or replace the muzzleflash with fire.

okay, I know about all your ideas but I'm not buying Ply's Mod for the flamethrower (thanks for defending me btw), I'm not buying Stealth Mod, I already changed the muzzle flash, but I'm getting Butter Finger's Flamethower when/if he finishes it

Thats just horrible....lol

Every mod should have everything in my opinion but I think HM has the best set of features and the flame thrower capabilities with the particles is not only very doable but I have already done it. If you do decide to go that route I can get you a modified copy of the particle I made for it if you want. Maybe I can get a screen shot up later but work comes early tomorrow so it will have to wait.

The flame thrower model I made wont be posted yet but maybe free in the future so keep an eye out for it. Its still in the animations stage since I kinda suk at anims.

I desperately need a flamethrower, if you want to find out why, see the pic attached. I've been trying to kill this thing with grenades, machine guns, missiles, AA guns, Anti tank guns, Vortex grenade, airstrike, and every little shell of ammo I could find but STILL couldn't kill this thing...
