Hi,

I would like to know if it's possible to keep a models texture when it's imported? I mean, I already textured my models in another program and when I import these models via the models-folder they always get the active texture of the texture browser and my original textures are gone.

Cheers,
chrisu

Have you tried putting the model texture in its own folder and within the Material folder where all the other textures are, then maybe reapplying the texture to your model like you normally would?

Hm, no, but the model's textured with simple color-textures, so I guess that would be a problem?

yeah, that's not a texture, that's just Vertex Colouring and should be avoided. The model needs to be truly textured for it to work.

Your signature has been erased by a mod because it's larger than 600x120
