Hey,

I started a simple FPS Game, and i would like to know why i got problems with this code, it all seams to fit very nice, and it compiles without errors, why do i only see blue and nothing more.

Here is my code:

Main.cpp

And here is the code of the extra .h file:

EDIT: Using 7.4 A BTW.

Thanks in forward,

Red Eye

Hey Red Eye,

The code you posted seems to be working fine. However, I moved your function into the main source file instead of using an include so maybe that could be screwing it up somehow. :S

Ok i dont think it is because of my omputer specs, i can play doom 3 and Call of duty 4 (medium res) on this "not so good laptop" (will try on my normal computer). And if i do it like u said, it doesnt work either.

Any other possibilities?

Maybe try a full uninstall, delete C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\DarkGDK and reinstall. I had a weird glitch on my installation in which GDK spontaneously stopped rendering objects. Luckily it doesn't take too long to install GDK + Plugins.

I think you have to include "DarkGDK.h" in your "oefpscam.h" file.

I tried that too. But the thing is that in DarkGDK 3d Game wizard with balls and such doesnt work either. Just blue screen. I do see the letter about moving up and down.

Have you got the newest update of DarkGDK? Ive heard it has problems with rendering objects and such AFAIK. So try and reinstall GDK but dont install any updates.

If you are using 7.4, you need more than just 1 first download in it's thread.

The first download is the complete library, but it has broken renderers. The ZIP with the fixed rendererd is about a dozen posts further down. Unfortunately you will need to go through and read the posts to see which is which. The one you are looking was posted by Mike and will have a download button.

If it ain't broke.... DONT FIX IT !!!

Okay i just insstalled the darkgdk and OMG it works. pfew

But no updates installed.

@Mista Wilson: So i need to update the Novemeber Update and then i download and install the 7.4a and then look down the posts to look for the mike his post and download his fix. And it will fix my problem?

Thanks,

Red Eye
