I'd like some feedback and if someone can help me with the scope i'll give it you guys for free (if you want it)

it's a silenced snipe with pistol grip but i'm trying to make the scope hollow with a reddish tint. I've made one before but it didn't really turn out good in the actual program i used it in.

It looks too blocky,chamfering some edges would do it.

It would look real good for a low graphics game if you rounded those edges. Also if you are just "coloring" then try to use an imported texture. It will improve looks depending on how well it's done.

Im kind of new to modeling what is chamfering?
Also im trying to texture my model, do you know any free texture programs because im trying LithUnWrap but cant understand it for the life of me.

btw i feel so stupid, i just asked my dad what chamfering meant and i lol'd so hard because i didnt know. sorry. (only 14 yrs old and im not used to all of these terms. (should know what it means seeing how im in algebra II)

chamfering edges = rounding/smoothing edges... i belive

any comments on my problem with texturing.? ahhh nvmind ill google and see what comes up for gimp texturing. i shouldnt be so lazy. but any input would be well appreciated!
