After downloading/installing Dark I found myself staring at the computer waiting for for something to happen. Where do I start? Any hints on the next step would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

What is Dark? Dark Basic? If so, Classic or Pro?

Either way, I recommend that you check out this thread

Yeah, the thing is to mess around for a bit, try out those tutorials and get used to DBPro. Maybe think about a small game project to start out with.

What sort of games do you like?, you should make games that you want to play yourself, it's the only way to get through a project on your own.
