Hi everyone,
I've made a weapon for FPS Creator ( a flashlight ), but i dont know how can i set him goodly in the camera.
Look this screen :

I dont know the command for move the weapon goodly.

i think you might need to rotate the weapon in your 3d program, and i would suggest buying FPSC toolbox for help with this stuff.

If positioning the weapon does not work well. Try editing the position through fpi scripting. Sometimes gets the job done.

Btw Splashdown enjoy that sig? Lol your the 4th or so person to use it and ill say to you what i said to the others dont worry about that being deleted ill keep it on for you guys

Thanks, altough it was a very simple anim made with flash mx 2004.

And utilizing x,y and z offsets you can position the weapon better i believe.

Although taking a second look at this picture....mmm....it seems like an export problem.

i have the weapon rigged, but i am having texture problems. i need some one to re-assign the hand texture with milkshape and send the file back to me ( i dont have milkshape)
EDIT: oh yeah, i also need the flash light to have the ww2 torch texture assigned to it

How you have modified the position on the camera of him ?
And, if you can, plz, add me on msn. I really need help.

yeh if i get that assigned the texture would work again, and torch_D2 is something i can work onward from. the problem with the model was thst it was about the sise of 1 and a quarter of a character. btw, i if you alredy have a texture 4 the flash light, it would be better to use that.
EDIT: also i changed the weapon position under hud muzzleflash position (or something like thst) set vert horiz and forward accordingly inside gunspec .txt

Thank you, i have successfully changed the position of the flashlight, here is it.


But, i cant add a animation, the animation of move is 0,20 but the weapon doesn't wanna play the animation when i move.

With your hud model, the weapon doesn't appears.

i meant i need textures assigned to MY hud model, then i have got gunspec settings etc.
