What I was wondering, is it possible to load an animated .gif image into darkgdk, cause it would really help me with my credits page ( just made it for fun ) because I want to make it like scroll upwards, and i have already made the scroll in imageready.

To the best of my knowledge GDK doesn't support animated GIFs. At the very least there'd have to be a function to process the graphic in each frame. Animated GIFS aren't just simple frames inside the same file. There are other controlling factors, including animation rate and information indicating what rectangle of the graphic to update (if it isn't the entire area.)
