i know i ask alot about upgrading my ram but i found this:

it says that i can upgrade the ram on my laptop upto over 2000 mb but how?

Laptops use small RAM cards which are electronically identical to desktop RAM but are smaller.

You'll need to look up what kind of RAM your laptop accepts.

Your laptop takes 333mHz DDR SDRAM. If it has two slots, you should be able to buy two 1Gb cards and put them next to each other. This should pretty much remove the necessity for a pagefile (though some like to keep one) and thus improve all-round system performance.

Though you've got to ask, at £40 a slot, is REALLY worth upgrading that thing? Netbooks are out with better specs.

Check ebay and the like. A 256Mb or 512Mb stick should make a noticeable improvement. Generally sticks below 1Gb don't have a lot of resale value. You might be able to find a stick for cheap.

By way of demonstration, he emitted a batlike squeak that was indeed bothersome.

thanks guys! (especially nex the fairly fast ferret) i have found one and will buy it next week. (havn't got the money yet...) it says it works for hp compaq .
