For some reason whenever i run this tutorial all i get is a blank screen. Which is really annoying because i understand the concept and want to start working on something a bit more advanced. But until im sure the code is going to work i'm reluctant to start coding. I've upgraded both the IDE and Compiler. I'm using Dx9. My sytem spec is:

AMD Duron 1.3
GeForce 3 Ti 500 ( 64 DDR )
1 gig RAM ( 2 512 DIMMS )

Does anyone else have this problem, or the answer to solve it??

are the dungeons BSP files? Are you running patch 5? If so then I hear there are some screwy things happening like black textures, nothing showing up.

just a thought

CattleRustler, the tutorial doesn't use BSP at all, it uses a textual based map file with constructed cubes. Very neat little tut though.

Here is the prototype coding for my dungeon maker for that tutuorial. At the moment it only has:
16X16 only
walls
floor
dead floor (ones not created in your dungeon)
saving
There is no media required, and currently no loading or orrigin positioning
For the commands to use it, I suggest you have a go at picking at the code to find how I made it so far. press 1,2 or 3 for whichever type of tile you want, and enter to turn the one you have clicked on to that tile, also press shift to save it.

Hope this is helpful to somebody
