I built an arena map and when any player spawns they have 60 rounds in the magazine of the colt 45. I tried right-clicking on the character but there doesn't seem to be a entry to change the amount of spawn ammo. What am I missing? thanx in advance -Brad

I just tried that and the only entry for ammo was the number of clips he drops when he dies, still set to 1 but that was a good idea thanx -Brad

Open the characters fpe and erase the 'hasweapon' field.
Then place weapons in the game.
Make sure the plrs dont start out with a gun

I figured this glitch out. It takes the "reloadqty = 6" parameter in gunspec.txt and multiplies it by 10. Which is why the MP40 had 320 bullets instead of 32 for me. I changed it to "reloadqty = 3" and viola! 30 bullets in a clip. The only issue I'm having now is that you ONLY get 30 bullets until you die, which clearly isn't enough.
