I have been wondering this, I looked around and wasn't able to find anything. Is there any way to make the hud lag behind the camera when turning? Like Airmod's Gunlag only with the HUD? That could really add some realism to some situations/HUDs

Well, Ply's Mod/Project Blue let's you track mouse movements, and also allows you to move HUDs. You could try grabbing the mousemove value, dividing it by ten, then moving the HUD in the opposing direction of the screen...

If I was ever given the opportunity to remove all the bad from the world, I wouldn't, because for there to be heroism, compassion and all that is good, there must also be all that is bad.

Combined with motion blur, that'd be really immersive...

They did that in the Metroid Prime series and it was an option you could turn on/off in Metroid Prime 3. That would be great for some sort of sci-fi-ish game.
