Hey guys. Is it possible to remove the walking sound during the in game feet sounds? They have to be stored some where, would removing the sound from its location (by way, any idea where it is?) work or would an error appear? Also, would entering DB Pro commands work with FPSC FPI code? If not I recon that Project Blue should include it in the next upgrade

it depends on the material, so u either remove them completely or use them ur whole game, can't modify it with scripting
they're found in Files/Audiobank/materials

No.

Without a mod handling it you would have to mess with the materials file. The RPG mod has a command called rpg_playerfootfall=

If it is equal to 0 then there are no footfalls (walking sound). If it is equal to 1 then you will here footfalls. The default is 1 for my mod. You can also set this switch in the setup file. However, you could have footfalls and then when the player enters a particular zone you can turn the footfalls off. It is very easy to accomplish in the code. Takse all of a couple of minutes to add code for this.

You can mute out the footwalkin sounds by making a quiet .wav file like 2 seconds long, then paste in audiobank\materials and edit that file in there for all footsteps to use that mute sound.
