Hey all,
As most of you might be able to tell I am new to this forum. I am also new to Game Programming. For a while now I have been learning and I have been building a project called Evolve. It's come from the fact that I couldn't find any good biology games out there, so I decided to create my own. So yes I am a Biology college student, who is just doing some game programming for fun.

If you want to check out the game so far here's the website I made for it.
www.evolvethegame.zoomshare.com

So basically I'd just like to know what you think of the game (please be constructive with you're comments as 1. its still in development and 2. I'm still learning). Also any advice any of you would like to share about game programming would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

~Milky Joe

Bonus for using ASCII. Your game should include information to teach the player about the biology terms. I don't know what half that stuff is, when to grow, when to store energy. So it was kind of like choosing random options and then I died. Not much fun or educational.

Also please note this forum is for projects using TGC products like DBPro, DBClassic, etc. Looks like something compiled in gcc? This should probably go in Geek Culture.

I'm not a real programmer but I play one with DBPro!

It's nice that you explain more here and show some images in the thread you create.

Use photobucket for example.

Dont's worry i know you are new.

I just updated the game to have a tutorial build in. Hopefully that helps, also the readme is updated with most biological terms. If there is anything else that makes this game more user friendly please let me know.

Thanks
