I was wondering how you animate an enemy (3d). I used the "play object" command but the phy engine takes over; so how do you animate your models using physics?

Best practice is to use a hidden object (Character Controller) as the physics object. You move and let physics handle this object. Then have a model that is visible and not physics enabled, set the location of the model at the position of the hidden physics object and rotate the model to the same angles as the physics object.
Then you can animate the model at whatever speed is suitable.
