i've finished a level editor for a game, and i need to send it to my friend who is working on a game with me. problem is, unless i debug with vc++ (i.e. f5) it just sits there with a black screen. even if i execute it from the debug/release folder. what am i doing wrong, and will i need to send anything else except the .exe and the images. (and yes, my friend has directx)

no, but i do use the //'s when accessing filenames, i.e.
"interface\\menus\\file.bmp"
