Another quick music app that i developed with 'Chunks' to record music and convert it.

Functions:
-Cd to wav (fast rip <no recording involved>
-midi to wav (record)
-mp3 to wav (record)
-ogg to wav (record)
-stereomix to wav (record)

Encoders:
-Encode wav to ogg
-encode wav to mp3

Demo limits:
After the first 10 runs the program goes into demo mode
The only thing that gets limited is the recording times.
The encoders will work all the time as well as the cd rip function.

What will mostly be used im guessing is the cd rip tool then the convert to mp3 stuff which is free and has no limits for that.
Enjoy!

.midi to .wav is a nice feature, especially if it works faster than other programs (Cakewalk, bleh!). I'll definitely try the demo and post later.

Your error is my treasure. =^--^=

i did some testing and vista is not working for me.... i will recompile a copy on vista to see if that fixes any issues.

for now it only runs on xp and older running direct x9.0c
Also i found i need to include some missing dlls

i will post again when all fixed up

edit: Oct 5, 2009
Looks like the cdripper dll has problems running in with vista. It may have to do with vista security stuff that every one loves...lol

when windows 7 comes out i will fix it to run on that and skip the whole vista compatibility garbage. Maby it will just work on windows 7? Any body want to test it?

Ok this program has been updated!

There are 2 exe files: Qrecorder Vista , Qrecorder XP

if you cant get xp version to run then the vista version will.

Its all in the same install file found on the link above.

Differences? well vista needs to record cd tracks manualy where the xp version can dump cd tracks to wav without recording it

Also note that some sound cards will not support this programs recording method. Follow the setup instructions....

eg. My laptop sound card only lets me record from the microphone...(no good)

needs to be set to stereo mix or what you hear.
