notice by when was referring to autodesk, I meant the company, which makes Mudbox and 3ds Max, the clay render always gives it away as a max though, I should of been more specific

Great job thus far! I've been having some difficulty doing the fountain tutorial on the part I am at. I have this DVD too but have yet to work through it. Looks like your learning lots!

It does seem cheap compared to some other things that I've looked at but... I'm REALLY poor. <-- paying for college + trying to move + current ridiculously high cost of living (hence the moving) + cats with weird problems (one of them can only eat duck because she's allergic to anything that isn't a novelty protein; hella-spensive, but I love her). However, I will work toward saving up for it! As is plainly evident, it makes beautiful, top-notch work. So, not a complaint or anything. Just not tangible for some people. I will not give up!! Someday, it shall be mine!

MWA HAHAHAH! <-- I love evil victory laughs, don't you?

I think that if you want to sell it you should make it flat at the bottom to fit on a floor. I don't really see how the pillar could become disconnected at the top, and bottom.

It would be connected to the floor, im not sure what you mean.

It has a gap by the floor, meaning that you have curved the base a bit. I don't think that is very useful for a game. Usually the base is embedded in tarmac, or cement.

I haven't curved the base, it is flat, but there is a section near the back with a hole in.

Ok.. you haven't curved the base, but there is a gap all the way around the bottom causing a shadow there.. which just looks like a curved base... so flatten that to make it connect with the floor.
