I was floating this idea around in the Mod section, and I wanted your input.

I'm thinking about starting up an annual BOTB; using this year's entries into the BOTB (only 2009 entries).

The winner would get an overlaid '09 on top of their existing BOTB badges (this would be permanent), signifying that they were (in essence) the BOTB of the BOTB. I'm shooting for the winner to be announced in the January Newsletter.

Since the judging is already done on existing BOTB entries; judging for the Annual BOTB would be done entirely by the community.

What are all your thoughts?

Yeah, that sounds a great idea. Would judging be done like a poll, or would a few select members of the community be selected to do it?

i dont think poll is a good idea, not everyone played all the games. maybe ask who wants to be BOTB and then test all the games who wants to be BOTB. and then everybody choose

I disagree, I think KeithC should judge, not the community as (no offence at all, just a fact) many of the users here are still 'newbies' and would not know which qualities just based on how awesome it might look at first glance

Keith, I thought you said you were going to leave BOTB as it J/K. I like the idea, but I would also have to agree, and think that you should be the one to choose the BOTBOTB title, since you are the only who choses the BOTB entries in the first place.

Though, not being that great of a level designer, my games never turn out too good.

Damn, my comp is broken!!! I would have zombified demo here, or even the full version downloadable, if my comp wasn't broken! I would have Mind Trix entry going and maby even a demo for Occulo. and this thing. Now this is the worst time to breal your comp.
