I am just about to buy my long awaited laptop but before I do I need to know if I will still be able to run DarkBASIC Pro and my programs on it. It has an ATI mobility 9000 with 64Mb dedicated VRAM. I haven't yet got patch 5 and I want to know if it will run on the new laptop as it is based around DirectX 9.0. Can anyone help as I can't place the order until I get confirmation!!

Well, it by far exceeds the recommended specs. My only question is that I don't know if the ATI Mobility 9000 graphics chipset supports DirectX 9.0. It does, however, state that it supports DirectX 8.1
