Hello guys,

i tried to make a skybox using 3DSmax, i made a double sided material and added the backfacing map and applied it to the object, when i F9 (render) while the camera is inside the box, i can see the backfacing map, but in DX viewer, when i zoom in i dont see any backfacing map, i also see the map which should be the backfacing on 3 sides of the box, and the front facing material on the other 3 sides, and i dont see the object at all when i load it in my game.

so anyone knows how to make a skybox using 3ds max? or if it's possible to make it with any other free software? since im kinda out of cash at this time

i think you can create a standart DarkGDK cube or sphere and
set its scale to a negative value so it is inverted.

They say it's better to burn out, than it is to fade away...
