I've moved this to 3D chat for now as rules state that you must have a screenshot in FPSC for it to be in the models & media board but I must say that priest looks outstanding! Well done.

Very very nice! The hands are a bit shiny but I'm assuming that's just because of the 3ds max render. Can't wait to see the knights!

it would appear to be plastic wrap lol

the model looks pretty sharp(by sharp i mean good), just turn down the overall shinyness to him his spec map is way more than i think it needs unless im missing something cheers

If i did it once i can do it again (Do you see what i see Sept 09)

he is almost, he has a couple good animations but im still working on a couple more. it takes me a good 2 hours to do a good animation plus i like them to blend in together.

@Plotinus

he is wearing a silk robe with a leather cloth around his waist with leather shoes and a gold plated shirt with a midevil design.

@dragon assasin

lol, i know, I just put his spec up real high to show his detail in the picture. in game you can see it all with a little specular on.

this all depends on what i am doing, like my army guys where most all photo based beside the faces and some clothing.this guys textures are all mine, as in I made them in gimp.but this depends on what you are wanting to do.you can even take regular photos and modify them to your liking with many difrent modifyers in gimp, there is a lot of color modifyers and also alot of filters you can play with to change a photos apperence.

thanks, this did not take but 2 hours to do, the dragon on the back is a brush from gimp, its acully a brush i downloaded from the net for photo shop, but you can use photoshop brushes with gimp.a brush is something you use to brush on colors and textures, like in paint, you can choose what size of paint brush you use, or even what shape. this is a stamp on brush.

You need to make proper normal and specular maps though, not just quickly generated ones. I suggest looking into it a bit more, it'd really help. Looking nice now though.

it was sized a little difrent in x10, plus the shop was not in x10 to show his size compared to the shop in fpsc.
