Figured I'd actually make a thread for this instead of spamming the thread with images. I've pretty much got the high poly done, will retopologize whenever I have time. Should be soon enough.
Moderately large AO render, so I'll post it as a thumbnail.

Well yes obviously, seeing as that's the high poly a lot of the stuff will only be represented via the normal map.

I have my ideas cooking along nicly.

Very good Alucard! 5/5 on this one!

I cannot wait to see the textured version! What is the poly count?

The low poly is about 3500 triangles or so I think. I've actually completely UV mapped the thing and am now baking the normal map out, going pretty well. Will post an update when it's done.

The baking itself is done, however it's not perfect (Got some seams and such on the normal map, and I haven't even gotten the AO done yet) so I'll have to fix that next, which'll probably take a bit of time.
However, here are some early shots, sorry I couldn't have the entire model in view at one time, as I might have mentioned earlier Maya isn't working 100% on my current OS so it's quite a bit slower than what it should be unfortunately.

Quite giant image so I'll thumbnail it again.

Thanks guys. I'll call the normals "done", not perfect by any means but eh, I don't feel like spending too much time on it.
