Dark GDK / Light Color - Evolved Shader

Hey I'm having a problem with Evolved's Shadow Shader,
I can't pass variables from my game to the shader for the current light color, but I can for the light position.
I am not currently at home so I can't post any source, but I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I could pass 3 floats (between 0.0f and 1.0f) to the shader (.fx) file.
